Meet the team!!

Barbara Caswell, LVT

Barbara, moved to Midland in 1998 to attend the Midland College Veterinary Technician Program and graduated May of 2000.  She started working at Cobb Veterinary Clinic in September 1999 but left for 1 year in October 2002 to work at Oklahoma Veterinary Teaching Hospital as an anesthesia technician.  There she learned valuable information but also that she missed private practice and client interaction.  She moved back to Midland in October 2003 to continue her career at Cobb Veterinary Clinic.  She is a certified EIA technician, and along with Dr. Cobb, Shauna and Destiny helps to run all Coggins testing by Pony Express Lab.  Barbara married Anson in September 2004 and they have 2 sons, Craig and Dawson who keep them laughing and running!

Noel Carrasco

Noel  has been with Cobb Veterinary Clinic since November 2007.  He is happily married to Dalila and has 3 wonderful girls.  He has worked with horses all his life and also has cattle.  His hobbies are trail riding and hunting.

Pam Wylot

Pam has worked with all types of animals since 1995 in different aspects from veterinary clinics to animal control officer.  She began with us in 2018 and has worn many hats in that time from front desk to tech.  Currently she is working as a tech and taking online classes to gain more knowledge in the veterinary field and to achieve her license as a tech.  We like to call her the cat whisperer as she has a special way with the ones that are a little more nervous.  She enjoys working with people and helping pets.  In her off time Pam enjoys riding her horses and is seen from time to time in she show arena.

Kelly Spencer, LVT

April McCaffrey

April was born and raised in Midland.  She left Midland in 2001 and finished high school in a small town in East Texas before moving to Kansas.  April returned to Midland in 2014, where she began her career in veterinary medicine as a receptionist at a local clinic.  In 2015 she moved on to the Animal Emergency Hospital where she was trained as a veterinary technician in emergency medicine.  April started at Cobb Veterinary Clinic in September 2018 as a technician but now plays the role of our wonderful receptionist.  She is the brain center of the clinic and helps keep us all lined out!  We have truly enjoyed having her on the team.  When she isn't at work April enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 fur children.

Destiny Cacy, LVT

Destiny was a part of the final class of veterinary technicians to graduate from the Midland College Veterinary Technology Program in May 2012.  She enjoys riding her two horses and Barrel Racing.  She joined the Cobb Veterinary Clinic team after graduation and since has continued to learn new things and improve on techniques she learned in school.  Destiny has learned that is takes commitment and patience to work in a busy practice.  She has learned how to be the voice for your pet and that they depend on the team for everything.  She has found how rewarding it is to see the sick or hurting patients welfare improve.  She enjoys educating clients on the importance of regular vaccinations, heartworm preventative and dental care.  Destiny went to NVSL in Iowa to take the EIA certification course and she is now a certified EIA technician.  She is a valuable member of our Pony Express Lab running Coggins tests on area horses.  She looks forward to a career full of life-long learning.  Destiny is currently working on an as needed basis to spend some time as a mommy with her son Weston.
